A road trip along the coast

Take the afternoon off and head out on a road trip, following the Sea to Sky Highway. The scenic route takes you to Whistler and beyond but you can pick the destination based on the time you have―Porteau Cove or Squamish with a stop over to see the Shannon Falls. In Squamish, take the gondola which flies at an altitude of 885 m treating you to stunning views of the Howe Sound Fjord. In eight minutes you see picture postcards flash in and out of view, the mountains, the river, the coastal forest and the fjord all vying for attention.
