As a part of Project Leap, the operator is rolling out the 4G services in Ladakh region. TELCO is also working to create 4G footprint of the nation, and is investing more than INR 60, 000 crores. The 4G footprint shall spread from Ladakh to Kanyakumari, and Tawang to Kutch. Ajai Puri, COO, Bharti Airtel, said that this is a major milestone for the nation, and that the internet service provider is forever committed to expanding its footprint, providing high-speed data to consumers. This is also a way to contribute to Digital India vision, as aimed by the government.
