Las Vegas doesn’t have to be all about glitzy hotels, impressive casinos and expensive dining. In fact, there are some great historical and cultural places around the city of Las Vegas to discover that are even more impressive than all the glam and glitz. For example, take the Smith Center for Performing Arts, which is a 150-million-dollar venue created for some of the most impressive performers in the world. Or how about the Red Rock Canyon National Conservation Area that boasts striking colors of red and white landscapes as well as a multitude of wildlife to see. Take a break from the casino and visit the Natural History Museum or go on a tour of the impressive Hoover Dam.
