The constant crowds milling outside this tiny eatery testify to its tremendous popularity. There are only two dishes on the menu—dahi bhalla and aloo tikki—both spiced to perfection. The crisp tikkis are served with two kinds of chutney (coriander and tamarind), while the crumbly bhalla is also accompanied with cooling curd. Both are excellent appetisers for Old Delhi’s other lip-smacking fare. Grab your plate, find a spot on the pavement outside the stall, and get ready for culinary epiphany.
