A leafy haven in the capital
Spread over 20 acres, the aim of this large, peaceful garden space is to offer sanctuary to all who enter, whilst simultaneously stimulating visitors' senses by way of fresh air, herb gardens, concerts, art shows, waterfalls and a smattering of wind-chime trees.
The garden opened in 2003 to much acclaim and is the only one of its kind in the country. Located just outside of the city centre in Said-Ul-Azaib, Garden of the Five Senses also houses some of the city's hippest bars and restaurants, so it's a great place to visit late afternoon and stay on for sunset dining and drinking.
