A small 4 feet wide and 10 feet long shop with space for accommodating barely four people inside it, churns out probably the best chhole bature in town. This is the iconic Chacha ke Chhole Bhature selling an all-time favourite dish for tru blue Dilliwallahs. You might want to reach a little earlier than peak lunch hours as stocks are limited and can run out owing to very large queues. More than two decades old, the joint continues to sell only two variants of Chhole Bhature—plain and aloo wale bhature (stuffed with aloo). If you are planning to take a walking tour of the university and Kamla Nagar market thereafter, remember to visit this stall. The best way to reach the shop is from the main entrance of Kamla Nagar market, off Bungalow Road. Of the many gulleys that criss cross this street, Chaacha Ke Chhole Bhature happens to be on the second to the right of the road.
