The summer of 2020 will bring the city’s largest Frida Kahlo exhibition in 40 years to Chicago. This exhibition at the Cleve Carney Museum of Art and the McAninch Arts Center will bring 26 original works of Frida Kahlo to the visitors. Frida Kahlo 2020 aims to introduce viewers to Frida’s viewpoint through her works. Apart from her works, the exhibits would also include reproductions of her clothing, and a peek into her life and times. The exhibition is slated to open to people in June 2020. But, to set the tempo right, a number of interesting events will lead to the opening.
