Cincinnati Zoo to bring its tulips and wildlife to your living room
The Cincinnati Zoo & Botanical Garden hosts Zoo Blooms every year, which is a month-long event that sees hundreds of tulips blooming in vibrant colours, creating a colour riot. This event attracts a number of visitors, who then also wander around to check out the animals in the zoo. The non-profit establishment has found a creative way to keep you entertained and satiate your urge for travel even as most of the countries around the world face a lockdown for now.
Reportedly, the peak bloom is anticipated to take place around Easter; Zoo’s Horticulture Director Stephen Foltz will be hosting a virtual tour at 3 PM on Facebook around this time.
The zoo has also planned to host an annual celebration for Earth Day on similar lines. The zoo will be hosting Party for the Planet, which will again be a virtual platform to enable people to celebrate this event from the safety of their homes.
