Sinclair Centre

Upmarket shopping in downtown Vancouver
Noteworthy for: The four buildings that make up the centre are the former post office, the Federal building, the Customs Warehouse, and the Winch Building - all landmarks in their own right.

This collection of Edwardian buildings was converted in 1986 to house the new Sinclair Centre is now filled with upmarket shops targeted at the more discerning Vancouverite. The two biggest players here are Leone, a large store where you'll find upscale brands like Armani, Prada, Dior, and D&G, and the L2 Leone outlet upstairs, which stocks more affordable brands like Miss Sixty, True Religion and Diesel.
Even the food court here is high-end; L'Express Cafe offers great coffee and danishes but don't expect change from a tenner. There's also a designer hair salon and nail bar on the second floor, where Vancouver socialites spend their Saturdays being pampered.
