Bikes are available for hire at 44 stations throughout the city, although only 15 of those sell the three-day ticket which, unless you're in Dublin for the long-term, is the one you want. Two wheels good
Dublin has joined European neighbours such as London and Paris in offering a self-service bike rental scheme. As you'd expect, it's a rather more modest affair than in those two metropolises, but is nonetheless hugely popular.
A three-day ticket costs EUR 2, with a EUR 150 guarantee. The first 30 minutes of cycling is free, after which modest charges apply, up to EUR 6.50 for four hours.
