If you are a science geek, the Periyar Science and Technology Centre is the place you must visit. As the name suggests, this museum was established to honour the memory of South Indian revolutionary leader Thanthai Periyar. The museum houses several scientific models that explain the many scientific discoveries that have been made over the years. The museum has different sections divided into separate galleries named as Life Science Gallery, Energy Gallery, Transport Gallery, Physical Science Gallery and so on. Just as the names suggest, each of these sections is dedicated to a particular discipline and explores and exhibits the scientific discoveries in the same.
