Founded in 1987, the Cactus Garden is located in Panchkula in the satellite city of Chandigarh. Developed to preserve the endangered species of cacti and succulent and of course promote tourism, the Cactus Garden is one of the biggest gardens in Asia. The only plants that surpass the popularity of the cacti are the roses and orchids. Admire the raw beauty of the cacti, as you get to observe more than 200 species and marvel at the large bonsai collection or take a tour of the glass houses—there’s a lot here that will leave you amazed. A great attraction for tourists and botanists alike, a tour of the cactus garden will fill you up with fascinating experiences.
