Another Chail highlight built by Maharaja Bhupender Singh, Sidh Baba ka Mandir has an interesting story behind it. It is said that a saint appeared in the Maharaja’s dream and told him about a place which happened to be his place of meditation. Then Maharaja Bhupender Singh initiated the construction of a shrine there to honour the saint’s presence. Constructed in 1891, Sidh Baba Ka Mandir is a place of holy spirit and every traveller pays a visit to this temple to offer homage and take the blessings of the saint. The locals of Chail have a firm believe that this shrine is the protector of Chail.
