Offbeat music venue that's well worth the journey
Word to the wise: If you aren't driving, the easiest way to reach the venue is by bus. Either the number 16 day bus or the number one nightbus will take you straight there.

Nice is in no short supply of large, multi-purpose venues for artists to choose from when they come to town, but when it comes to established yet slightly offbeat acts, Théâtre Lino Ventura is the venue of choice.
Undeterred by its very northerly location far from the city centre, young music fans dutifully make the pilgrimage to this 700-seat auditorium that sees over 13,000 visitors pass through its doors every year. As Nice isn't the most obvious of tour stops for many alternative artists, it's refreshing that the venue has served as host to so many interesting acts since its inauguration in 1992. Breathy French cover band Nouvelle Vague have graced the stage here as have international acts such as Mogwai and The Kills.
