A friendly French bistro packed full of charm

Le Grain de Sel's philosophy, 'excellence lies in simplicity', is evident in its small but mouth-watering menu, allowing the kitchen to concentrate on producing truly exceptional French dishes. And, as he's been in business for over 20 years, the owner and head chef Gregory Yarm has clearly got it right.

The decor is elegant, the menu changes daily based on market finds and absolutely everything, including the bread, is made in-house. The all-important little details are not forgotten either - coffee is served with Belgian chocolates, all main courses are accompanied by fresh vegetables and the menu features a special 'thought of the day'.
