Brunch heaven in a former grocery store
Located in the working class district of Marolles, Het Warm Water was formally a grocery shop which specialised in selling warm water to locals who didn't have the facilities to heat their own. Today it's best known for its hearty brunch menu, as well as its regular evening cabaret performances - its two very different guises demonstrate a quirkiness that can be found in both the decor and the owners.
In an homage to its history, the tiny interior is dotted with old kettles, coffee machine and a large tin bath. The owners' love of breakfast is the reason for the brunch-heavy menu, including their ever-popular set brunches, which include muesli, yoghurt, fruit, eggs, ham, cheese, pastries and bread.
