Oleana is one of the very few textile brands that believe in making fabric in a ‘responsible manner’ i.e., without harming the planet. They take pride in using natural organic materials such as wool, silk and alpaca to make cloth material. They also claim to be the only factory that both knits and sews everything in-house.
Now, you know that Oleana is not just another merchandising store, but it’s a culture, folklore, lifestyle and an inspiration. Hence, visiting this store means understanding Norwegian style of dressing in more depth while supporting a brand that’s following ‘fair trade'.
Oleana’s brand shop is located at Strandkaien in Bergen city centre and opposite to Torget Fish Market. You can also visit their factory which is in Ytre Anna if you wish to shop from the factory outlet. The best part is that you can also see the garment production process in the plant and Oleana is very much open about it.
