A simple, authentic restaurant where locals come in droves
Popular plate: Portions are large (sharing is advisable) but make sure you leave room for the prawn tempura, Thai fish cakes, ribs, and pad kee mao.
If you are adventurous enough to try street food but want a gentle introduction to the process, then this is the perfect restaurant for you.
Serving up a fresh version of street delights in a clean, family-owned restaurant atmosphere, Suda's authentic and simple Thai dishes are prepared well and generously proportioned. A favourite with locals, dishes such as chicken in banana leaf and tamarind fish are particularly noteworthy, as are the giant deep fried shrimp with sweet chilli sauce.
It's a bit difficult to find—Suda is located near the Asoke intersection, on a small alley off Sukhumvit Road—but it's well worth the effort.
