If you’re a nature lover who loves a good cuppa then La Bodega Verde in Lima is the place for you. This little cafeteria is tucked away in an alley and is perfect for whiling away a lazy afternoon in Barranco. The bright yellow wall at the entrance is a marker of things to come—La Bodega Verde is bright and cheery. The café also boasts of a gorgeous patio with a few tables. The best part is that it is pet-friendly—a lot of the café’s patrons drop by the cafeteria with their pets, so expect some canine friends to greet you at La Bodega Verde.
Coffee and tea is on the menu and is commendable. But, La Bodega Verde also boasts of an amazing menu with lots of options for gluten free, vegan, and vegetarian meals. Everything from their breakfast platters to desserts is finger-licking good. You must try the Lucuma pyramid or frozen maracuja for some typical Peruvian flavours. We also love their breakfast plates, creamy Greek yogurt with granola, and their velvety smooth pumpkin soup.
