Experience Shibuya – It is the most amazing part of Tokyo. I don’t say this because I used to live there—I lived there because Shibuya is so legendary. Shibuya ward includes Shibuya district, the party center where the twenty-somethings of Tokyo party it up until sunrise. Ebisu district is home to the thirty-something scene, full of darts bars, jazz clubs and laid-back lounges. Harajuku is the fashion capital of the world and Yoyogi is home to one of Tokyo’s largest parks.
An entire day from sun-up to long past sun-down can be spent exploring the many districts of Shibuya. Start in the north with Yoyogi Park and begin working your way south. Visit Harajuku for color people-watching and great shopping at Takeshita-dori. Stop by Shibuya Station to witness the busiest intersection in the world and say hi to Hachiko, Japan’s most famous dog. A visit to Cat Street seems only fitting to come next. Follow it all up by grabbing a drink at Nonbeiyokocho, then pop in a club before moving on to a more upscale drinking establishment in Ebisu. Shibuya offers 24 hour a day food, fun and adventures; only the shopping is limited to daytime hours.
Nearby: Too much to do list - Harajuku. Hachiko. Shibuya intersection. Ebisu Beer Museum.
