That portion of Tsukiji is more tourist-friendly than the inner market, and more delicious. Stop somewhere that looks good, grab a meal, and partake in some people-watching while you eat. Just make sure to finish all your food before you resume wandering around. Japan can be a quirky country, and they have a “no eating while walking” rule that is strictly enforced.
