It was voted to be the best hotel in Scotland and, with its reasonable price, it’s a perfect place to spend a few nights when you’re in the city. It underwent a multi-million dollar renovation in 2010 and the interior and exterior is stunning. A central staircase sits in the middle of the lobby boasting an impressive chandelier above it. There are over 200 rooms over a few different levels including deluxe rooms and suites. Some of the rooms actually look over the Grand Central Train Station. There is Wi-Fi throughout the hotel as well as a bar and restaurant on-site and laundry available for guests. Although breakfast isn’t included, it is only an extra $10 to add on for each guest. With easy access to shops, restaurants and attractions, this beautiful hotel is a solid choice for a mid-range hotel in Glasgow.
