There is a local story about how once Alsisar, and Malsisar were one village once upton a time. Malsisar has a fort that was completed in 1855.
There are many havelis in Malsisar, but most of them are in a bad shape due to neglect and lack of tourists.
Samadhi of Giriji are samadhis or tombs have not been built in chhatri style, as is the case throughout Shekhawati, but have fine murals on the domes and have also used small mirrorwork. There are two joharas made for storage of water to be used in times of scarcity or drought. Malsisar has two-three wells, all built in the late 19th century with fine paintings that are decaying. Stay options are available in the form of two heritage havelis in Alsisar.
