Mont-Tremblant is a stunning winter sanctuary lying in the Laurentian Mountain range about 80 miles north of Montreal. After Idaho’s Sun Valley, it is the second oldest skiing resort in North America. Tremblant is for the ones high on skiing. With 662 acres of varied skiable area, Mont-Tremblant offers 96 ski trails on four slopes. Both beginners and veterans can find ample space here to learn and practice the sport uninhibitedly. Apart from skiing, tourists can go for snow-shoeing, or a dog sledding tour lasting 6 miles including a pit stop of hot chocolate and maple cookies in between. Although, the ski season lasts from November through April, summer time turns Mont Tremblant into an ideal destination for golfers. Accommodation is easily available here, but the Hôtel Quintessence is highly recommended
