Our favourite part about visiting a European city is its cobble-stoned alleys. Everything revolves around these quaint streets in Europe—they are laden with architectural gems, cultural hubs, restaurants and bars. After a long day of sightseeing, it’s hard to resist the lure of an open-air bar overlooking a historical monument. Enter Nonenina Bar in Dubrovnik. This famed cocktail bar, located conveniently right opposite Rector’s Palace, promises all that and more. The extensive menu has close to 200 cocktails. The wine list is similarly impressive. But that’s not all—you will find everything from champagnes and cognacs to whiskeys and liquors at Nonenina Bar. If you’re a keen smoker, the bar also has a vast variety of cigarettes and Cuban cigars. Choose your poison and bag a table by the roadside. Nonenima Bar is perfect for the archetypal European pastime, i.e., people watching. It helps that the seats here are some of the most comfortable ones that you will find at a bar—large armchair style loungers come with padded cushions. Just sink into it and relax as you watch the world go by. Highly recommended for a quiet evening out.
