Hotel Saratoga is a place where history and modernity marry each other. Built in the 1930s, the hotel is considered the most luxe hotel in Havana. As far as prominent guests are concerned, the hotel has been known to host Jay Z and Beyonce when they visited Havana on their trip to Cuba in 2013. Displaying colonial charm through its architecture, the hotel has been known to match modern hospitality standards for years. Situated right opposite to El Capitolio, at the edge of Old Havana, the hotel is at a mere walking distance from the city’s major tourist attractions. While there are 90-plus rooms in the hotel, the other guest services of the hotel include a rooftop pool, a gym and spa and several restaurants. Although the interiors of this hotel have been upgraded in the past decade, the entrance and the central atrium still retain their original colonial charm.
