Take a stroll around a river delta – Zürichhorn is a leafy lakeside park stretching across the Eastern shore of Lake Zürich. The recreational park is popular with locals during summer months when it is filled with street artists, bikers and souvenir stalls. The lakeside promenade is ideal for taking a stroll. Zürichhorn can be reached by foot or with the tram. During summer a boat trip on Limmat can bring you to this beautiful lush green lung of Zürich. The spacious park features fine sculptures, including Heureka, by Jean Tinguely. The Pavillon Le Corbusier occupies the Northeast of the park. There is also a Chinese Garden inside Zürichhorn. You can spot impromptu artworks sometimes. A stone balancing sculpture created quite a stir last year amongst the art aficionados. Restaurant Lakeside, the Biergarten, and the Fischstube provide lake view dining venues. Zürichhorn river delta is a great escape from the city where you can breathe fresh air, and enjoy the tranquillity in Switzerland's busiest city.
