This fantastic seafood restaurant is located in a gorgeous setting right outside Alghero, on the North West coast of Sardinia. It is a beautiful place where all tables overlook the gulf, with views that span all the way to the promontory of Capo Caccia. It is perfect for a romantic dinner, with food that is absolutely delicious. It specialises in barbecue dishes, so everything is grilled and there are no pasta dishes. The menu changes depending on the daily catch. It is possible to choose from a number of set menus, all having a salad. If available, the grilled squid, grilled sea bream and grilled swordfish are delicious. Even the sebadas – a traditional Sardinian sweet made of a thin pastry filled with cheese and lemon grind and then fried and served with honey – is served here. Service is spot on and the atmosphere is relaxed. It is a bit expensive, but the food and the atmosphere make it all worth it.
