The younger Thai crowd loves these two neighbouring hotspots, and so will you once you have visited the place. Dance the night away to some of Bangkok’s best DJs, as they spin the latest in techno and hip-hop. Located inside a trendy warehouse, Demo is both industrial, and artsy chic in terms of style; graffiti on the interior brick walls only adds to the flair. On surveying the parking to get a sense of the crowd, the number of fancy cars show you who’s partying here. Foreigners looking for a night-out in sophisticated Sukhumvit will get a kick out of Demo’s fun atmosphere and Funky Villa’s live music scene.
The best part is that you can feel free to stroll back and forth between Demo and Funky Villa, as each offers a distinct energy. If you’re in the mood for live music and entertaining fare, be sure to spend time inside Funky Villa. Take a break in their outdoor area to catch some fresh air and a cigarette, before diving back into the beats. Free cover charge for both is a big draw, though we suggest doing your pre-drinking elsewhere since booze is quite pricey at these spots. And take ID with you — bouncers will enquire.
