It goes by the unfussy and rather strange name of Brahmin Soda Factory and has been around for more than eight decades. Nondescript and a bit difficult to find you’ll look for the name board but the establishment is way too popular among the crowd and hence easy to spot on Old Bank Road. Three generations old, the place has a laid back air and an ambience and furniture to suit the mood. Despite the looks, it is hugely popular, especially in summer and dishes out juices, sodas, ice creams and fruit salads. People come here mainly to have one of the many sodas, especially masala though the sarsaparilla and the ginger versions are quite popular as well, while the ice creams are all homemade.
