Vast landscapes, scenic tiny villages, raging rivers and harsh conditions are all a part of this adventurous road journey. On this journey you’ll be amazed to see how the vista changes drastically from green pines to rocky hills and roads open up to the vast and mesmerizing landscapes. You surely do not want to miss this experience if you live in Delhi and like road tripping. The drive from Delhi to Spiti via Shimla, on the following trail: Shimla-Rampur-Kalpa- Nako–Tabo–Kaza–Manali–Delhi, is one of the most treacherous one but very beautiful at the same time. So go for it if you are a road person. This can be done in 10 days and the best time to do it is from August to October. There are very few petrol pumps on this route so it’s advisable to carry fuel with you along with lots of stuff to eat. If you have time, do visit Langza, Hikkim and Komic villages. Dhankar monastery is another must visit on the way.
