Have you ever fancied a mug of cherry beer? Or perhaps some banana beer? You probably must have imagined what coffee infused beer would taste like, or maybe conjured up the idea of beer and champagne combined in a glass. Pivovarsky Dum is that one place which makes all of your beer fantasies come true. It is quirky to the core and caters to those who love experimenting. But that does not mean the good old pale and dark lagers are missing. While the interiors are traditional and the food is authentically Czech, the chefs do make an effort to add beer to every dish. All of these factors come together to ensure Pivovarsky Dum stands out from the crowd.
The folks at Pivovarsky Dum are generous with samples in case you cannot decide what you want to sip on. Additionally, their ‘beer of the month’ is always interesting and innovative. While the prices here are on the higher side and the servers are thoroughly professional, the quality of the fare served is what attracts both locals and travellers. In order to make the most of your time in Prague, I’d suggest you spend an evening at Pivovarsky with a four litre ‘Giraffe’, which basically would be your personal beer tap—happy memories will never fade.
