Delhi University’s stadium situated in North Campus was built to house rugby events. It also includes training area for Netball, Boxing, Wrestling and Athletics. Like some of the other venues that were built for the 2010 Commonwealth Games, the University stadium has also been fitted with many green features. These include rain water harvesting, a sewage treatment plant, an ozone system for removing bacteria and other microbes from the environment, among other features.
The stadium has a capacity of over 10,000 spectators.
Take the Delhi Vishwavidyalaya stop from the metro and the stadium is walkable from here. You can also take a quick peddle rickshaw.
