Tibet Kitchen never fails to live up to its position as one of the best restaurants in Mcleodganj and Dharamsala. It is much loved for its menu that has traditional Tibetan and Bhutanese dishes such as thentuk, Ema Datschi (Bhutan’s national dish), shepta (roasted lamb slices), gundruk sadeko (spinach tossed in spices), shabalay (fried meat pie), butter fried beans, steamed/fried momos and more. There are some Thai flavours as well—all worth trying. Walk in for a lavish dinner, well-complemented by jugs of peach beer. Evenings see foodies thronging the place, thus it’s advisable to visit the Tibet Kitchen early in the evening.
