Based out of Chiang Mai city, Pun Pun Organic Farm is a seed saving, sustainable living and learning center. The farm runs three restaurants in town, the first of which is located within the temple complex of Wat Suan Dok, on Suthep Road. The other two locations, Pun Pun Lang Mor and Pun Pun Market are located on the very west end of Suthep Road close to Doi Suthep and Hang Dong Road just south of the city respectively. All locations serve expertly prepared organic vegetarian and vegan Thai, Western and fusion dishes with an emphasis on fresh salads and curries. The restaurants also offer a range of fresh fruit shakes, juices, teas and local coffee. Both locations on Suthep Road serve similar dishes while the Hang Dong location serves more Isaan (northeastern Thai) dishes and also has an onsite natural food store selling local produce, homemade yogurt and more. While out of the immediate city center, the meals you’ll have here are worth the trip. Eating at Pun Pun isn’t just delicious, it also helps out the community as dining at the restaurants helps support Pun Pun’s various farming and community-based programs across Northern Thailand.
