Laidback licks and fresh tunes in Carouge
A pilgrimage site for Geneva's music lovers, the Chat Noir hosts gigs and club nights that draw in anyone from jazz aficionados to Electro heads. With a downstairs venue that has recently played host to musicians including Roy Ayers and Pink Martini, its cosy, pub-like upstairs bar is popular with a mixed crowd looking for a low-key place to drink, or smoke on the benches outside.
Performances typically start at 10pm on weekends, 9pm during the week, while the club carries on well into the early hours.
