Chinese food in a league of its own

Popular Plate: Le Tse Fung is one of the few places in Geneva where you can get really good dim sum.

Geneva's hotel restaurants are a rather more adventurous bunch than you might expect, as this interesting Chinese place in La Reserve Hotel demonstrates. With a plush - if slightly bonkers - decor of purple drapery accented with a metal elephant's head, the restaurant serves a large roster of dishes, including Sichuanese and Mongolian specialties and a good selection of dim sum.

Rather better than the usual takeaway cliches, Le Tse Fung also has a pleasant summer terrace with views of the hotel's park and pool.
