A thoroughly innovative restaurant in the very centre of the city, Acqua al 2 is primarily known for its innovative ‘assaggi’ (tasting) courses, which allow you to try a little bit of everything, from a selection of exquisite pastas or a large mix of fresh salads to a platter of scrumptious desserts – all without breaking the bank.
But its equally talked about for the hyper-social atmosphere. They place the tables extremely close together to encourage a buzzing interaction between diners. Having gained an extremely loyal local following since it opened in 1979, there’s still nowhere else in Florence quite like it.
