Bohemian restaurant-cum-nightclub serving all the senses
At first glance, The Beehive promises a one-night fling of bawdy, boozy fun. The two-story space is bordello-plush, draped in tasseled burgundy and adorned with chandeliers that hang like cheap sparkly earrings. But this Bohemian supper club and jazz venue lures patrons back again and again to enjoy hearty meals graced with international notes, sample daring cocktails, and dance the night away to the live music on stage.
The clientèle is eclectic and typically older, as other nightspots cater more to the large student population of Boston. Still, it's hard to generalize, as the patrons are as diverse and surprising as the art featured on the brick walls.
