Drinking under the red lights and feasting on pub food
Like a good dive bar should, Charlie's Kitchen invites you to slip into a red-lit booth, alone or with friends, and enjoy your cheap booze and greasy burger to the vintage punk tunes jangling from the jukebox.
The diner on the first floor is fine for budget meals during the day, but upstairs in the darker bar is where the locals, artists, students, and dive-tribe imbibe. A full bar features a variety of brews and cheap, strong cocktails. There's also karaoke, trivia and live music on select nights, but it all blends into the oily walls and creates a neighborhood coziness. On warmer evenings, drinkers crowd the outdoor beer garden.
