Authentic Catalan cooking at local's favourite

Word to the wise: If you have no moral objection to foie gras, you'll be in heaven here: they specialise in the pâté.

You might well be the only foreigner eating at this unpretentious restaurant in Eixample; it's not the kind of place tourists stumble across.

Locals love it, however, for its authentic Catalan cooking and cosy yet stylish charm (rough-hewn brick walls, vintage wall cabinets filled with delicatessen products, marble tables, flattering lighting). The wide-ranging menu stretches from tapas to tasting menus, wine is available by the jug and there's a nice terrace.
