Fine, old, rare, and interesting books with a Southern bent
Tucked behind the Cabildo alongside the rear garden of St. Louis cathedral, Faulkner House is a tiny bookshop crammed with only the unusual, interesting, and hard-to-find-elsewhere tomes.
The shop is particularly good for books from Southern authors and those in the southern gothic tradition, such as Faulkner, Williams, Grubbs, or Caldwell.
There are also many first editions and rare books, including a glass case full of original editions from Faulkner himself. It's a great place to pick up interesting reads or gifts for literary friends.
