Cheap and delicious Russian pies made to traditional recipes
The Stolle brand has spread throughout Russia since it first opened in St. Petersburg in 2002 and despite having many imitators, nobody has yet managed to reach Russian pie perfection quite like Stolle. Apparently the dough recipe is a well-kept family secret known only by a select few.
There are around ten savoury and sweet varieties to choose from and all the pies can be eaten in at the cafe or taken away for consumption on the go. The fact that the pies are only ever served fresh straight from the oven guarantees consistent top quality.
