Pasticceria Marchesi is Milan’s most famous chocolatier, serving hand-made quality confectionary alongside pastries of all shapes and sizes, elegant tortes and elaborately decorated cakes for all occasions.

Founded way back in 1824, the shop still features the original glass display cabinets, pillars and counter, and all the confectionary comes in sophisticated packaging, making it the perfect present to take home with you. As befits any self-respecting Italian institution, there is also a small bar serving chocolate croissants and delicious hot chocolate. If you have a sweet tooth, then this little store is about as close to heaven as is possible.
