Miami's one-stop celebrity spot 'n' shop destination

Word to the wise: Board one of the cruise boats that line the docks to see the homes of the A-list like singers Gloria Estefan and Shakira on aptly-named Star Island.

Funky boutiques, the usual crop of mall chain stores, and outdoor cafes and bars are nestled along the water making it a favorite among locals and tourists for window shopping and strolling. The scene borders on the tacky and it’s overrun with tourists, but the proximity to the bay and some of the best views of Miami make up for the kitsch.
