Spain's quintessential summer shoes
Perhaps the city’s most famous shoe shop, Antigua Casa Crespo was opened by Mr Crespo way back in 1836. And the perfectly preserved wooden exterior looks exactly as it did then.
Step inside and you’ll find floor-to-ceiling shelves packed with espadrilles in every size and colour imaginable. They're all hand stitched and you can choose from cotton or silk, and basic flats to lace-up-the-leg wedges. They stock the straw-soled shoes for all the family and every occasion, including the shiny black variety worn at weddings.
