Talk of the town: Naming a chic, luxury boutique after the shocking Oscar-winning film was a bold move.

Midnight Express is the stylish concept store of creative Turkish couple, Banu Bora and Tayfun Mumcu. More than just a fashion boutique, designer Bora creates a sophisticated, urban ready-to-wear collection while her architect husband contributes furniture and homeware. It also stocks other local and international designers.

Prices aren’t cheap, but the minimalist interior makes it a chilled-out shopping experience. There’s another branch in Bebek that sells exclusively jewellery.
