Self-service wine tasting at the Honolulu Design Center

Word to the wise: Not just a oenophile haunt, Amuse has beer tap tables which allow you to pour your own draft beers from its two different kegs.

This uber modern wine frontier attracts an upscale crowd exploring an array of vintages and varietals via self-serve dispensers, paid for with pre-loaded wine cards. It might sound sterile, but with knowledgeable staff on-hand to discuss the 80+ labels, it's great fun, especially with a group of friends.

Amuse also offers a small, sophisticated bar menu of dishes like grilled cheese made with Danish Havarti cheese, prosciutto and truffle essence. From Mon-Fri, 5pm - 7pm, you can also grab USD 5 cocktails and USD 5 food specials.
