German aesthetics and organic coffee

Word to the wise: Private shopping experiences are available (just call the store), but the expectation is that you'll walk away with a purchase or two.

The German expat owner of Forest Bird wanted to inject some understated European style into Hong Kong's glitzy retail scene, and developed this multi-directional women's boutique accordingly. You'll find elegant designers from London, Paris and Antwerp (think Bruno Pieters, Mongrels in Common and Rue du Mail) adorning the racks of the three-storey space, plus a selection of accessories, beauty products and clean-lined homewares.

Minimalist art adorns the walls, and there's a cafe serving organic drinks and baked goods from Paul Lafayet patisserie. Think of Forest Bird as a full immersion experience, not just a store.
