Named for a French-era mayor with standout facial salad, Blanchy's is HCMC's gastronomic party palace du jour. Hailing from London's Nobu, Australian chef Martin Brito serves up Peruvian/Japanese fusion dishes like river prawns with spicy lime dressing in the mid-level restaurant, while drinks are expertly mixed in the moody downstairs cocktail lounge.
The third floor, semi-covered terrace bar provides another place to enjoy a quiet tipple - on weekdays, at least. Come the weekend, the venue thumps to seductive deep house beats provided by local and international DJs.
